Charity Challenges / Charity Adventures

Bravehearts Adventures are extremely unique events that give anyone and everyone the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to the Bravehearts Mission. Adventure is a wonderful and proven platform for individuals and teams to extend themselves and raise valuable money for Bravehearts. The adventures we are offering are NOT “off the shelf” programs, they are purposely designed “Dinner Party Stories” and generally not available to the public.

Charity organisations now embrace adventure challenges as highly rewarding fundraising opportunities because we all know that the humble walkathon has had its day.

At Adventure1000 we organise charity adventure challenges all over the world from trekking the Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea or climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to paddling across Bass Strait.

Adventure1000 is unique in the charity adventure market because we deliver the complete charity challenge from concept development to marketing, pre-event training (if required), management of all logistics and physically leading the adventure through to post-event participant evaluation.

In the past, Adventure1000 and its principal, Brian Freeman, have hosted a range of smaller and large scale charity challenges and corporate events, most of which involve comprehensive pre-trek training managed by Adventure1000 including:

  • RSL Soldiers Kokoda 2011 - raised awareness for Australian Defence Force personnel engaged and wounded in active service - story featured on "Sunday Night" program, Channel 7
